I am the lack of a sign, I am the stuttering,

I am the failed confession and the 

Fear of the faceless deep

I am the tragedy of an unoccupied soul,

Wretchedness and waiting,

I am the unheard prayer.

I am the eye for an eye

I am what I am;

A god in hiding, 

Bruised, beaten,

Bleeding, kneeling in a 

Darkened eden
